This is a combined course that includes a module on Asthma treatment, and another on Anaphylaxis. 

 

The Asthma module will cover Asthma Emergency Management with the skills and knowledge to deliver blue reliever medication in an asthma attack. The Anaphylaxis module will cover Anaphylaxis recognition and first aid principles, including assessment of Epi-pen/Anapen administration.

 

Both modules are in accordance with State and Territory guidelines in:

 

• Kindergartens


• Workplace


• Schools (including excursions)


• Sports envoironments, .i.e. Coaches, support staff etc
